These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of this website and any content, code, or materials provided here. By using the site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2. Licensing
The writing on this site, the tools, and the code behind them are licensed separately. Commercial use of any of it needs a separate written agreement.
The license page sets out which license covers what, what attribution is required, and which third-party libraries keep their own terms.
3. Code, Scripts & Snippets (Disclaimer)
Technical articles, code examples, scripts, and snippets are provided as-is, without any warranty. They describe approaches that worked for me in specific contexts and are not the only, best, or most up-to-date methods. Use requires appropriate technical skill. You use them entirely at your own risk. I am not liable for errors, data loss, downtime, or damages arising from their use. Views expressed are personal and may change over time; posts reflect a point-in-time perspective.
4. Acceptable Use
Do not misuse the site, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with availability, or submit unlawful, harmful, or infringing content. Automated scraping that degrades service or violates licensing terms is not permitted.
5. Third-Party Services & Links
The site may reference or integrate third-party services (e.g., hosting, email routing, fonts, CDNs). I do not control third-party content and am not responsible for their policies or practices. Use at your discretion and review their terms and privacy notices.
6. Security & Anti-Abuse
Bot-prevention and security features operate on this site. The contact form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which decides whether a submission is automated. Attempting to circumvent it, or submitting through it by automated means, is not permitted. See the privacy policy for what Turnstile receives.
7. No Warranty
The site and all materials are provided as-is and as available without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, I shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or business, arising out of or in connection with your use of the site or materials.
9. Intellectual Property & Attribution
Keep the notices you receive. Do not remove copyright lines, license files, or credits from anything you copy or adapt. Under both licenses that is a condition, not a courtesy.
For the tools, any publicly accessible deployment or modified version must show visible credit: “Based on work by Anas Hannoun - anas-ha.com”, or an equivalent in the interface language, linking back to this site.
The name “Anas Hannoun”, the site’s logo, and other marks are not covered by either license. Their use requires prior written permission.
10. Changes
I may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date on this page. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed exclusively by Dutch law. Disputes shall be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules where applicable.
